Week in Review
I’m going to go bullet-free this week in favor of a short, descriptive paragraph.
This week was a great success for my reading goal. I finally completed Atlas Shrugged this morning. All 1069 pages of it. Ayn Rand tends to be a bit heavy on the details, but despite that, I really enjoyed the story and characters, and feel great about knocking such a monumental book off of my reading to-do list. I did a fair amount of cooking this week, but failed to visually document anything. I made some really great sirloin steaks, and also attempted to poach some peaches. A peach is a fairly perfect food as it is, and I really don’t think my poaching enhanced it at all. I had much more success when I poached pears a few weeks ago. In the area of personal fitness, I was somewhat lacking. I went for two good runs and only made it to the gym once. I’m hoping to step that up this week.
